TOKYO

Japan is my happy place. Ever since I was a child, this country has always been close to my heart. I've been learning their language for the past years and this year I was able to use it somehow. Dreams really do come true.

Upon arriving at the airport we felt the cold breeze just right after setting our foot outside. We took airport photos, called our parents that we safely landed. But we had this little problem with our Bus transfer. We forgot that we have an hour difference, but luckily they still acknowledge our booking even though our bus left already.

We went to Shinjuku, where our hotel is located, APA HOTEL - SHINJUKU KABUCHIKO is the name. The room size is okay for two people, you have the television just right in front of the bed. You have the vanity area, wherein you can do your make up, writings and using your laptop. As for the shower & comfort room I give it 10/10 it's not that big but everything you need is there. Access? it's very accessible to everything. There are 711, FamilyMart, Sega, Mall, Donkijote and even the famous Ichiran Ramen can be found in the area. The train station is also 10 minutes away.

For our second day, we decided to explore Asakusa, tried Dango, paid our respects. Get to see our Fortune & thats where I tried my first Hot Matcha Latte from SB. After that we went to Odaiba. They say it is the most high-tech entertainment hub on an artificial island. We saw the Rainbow Bridge, Statue of liberty (but it is under construction), the huge Gundam Figure, the Daikanransha Ferris wheel. We also went to Team Lab.

Third day, we dedicated the whole day to the #HappiestPlaceOnEarth and where dreams come true, Tokyo Disney Sea. We chose TDS because upon a little research they said that this one can be more enjoyed by adults. We really had fun and we felt like kids running around the themed park. My favorite ride was the "Journey to the center of the earth". Lines can be long, you have to wait for 30-50 minutes max if the park is busy. You can also enjoy the food inside, they're very delicious.

  • DAY 3

Our 4th Day is meant to fulfill my childhood dream, which is to go to Sanrio Puroland where my favorite character Hello Kitty lives. It was so much, I felt like a kid again. For the record I saw kids running around with their parents, teenage girls with their friends and there's us 2 adults enjoying the view. We also tried the famous ramen place, Ichiran Ramen.

  • DAY 4

5th Day is for Shopping and errands day, we went to Shibuya.

We went to the Biggest Starbucks in Tokyo. Its size is 32,000 square ft. It is said to be bigger than the previous largest, the Shanghai Reserve Roastery. It is a four-story building which is over-looking at the famous Meguro River.

Meguro River

    • It was partly designed by Kengo Kuma, an Olympic Stadium Architect.
    • The River is a famous spot for Cherry Blossom viewing during Spring.
    • It is one of the shooting location of "Good Morning Call" in Netflix and a lot more Jmovies & Jdramas.
      • I was also lucky enough to find other nearby shooting locations.

Hachiko Memorial Statue
    • It is a famous spot honoring the loyalty of the Akita Dog, Hachiko.
      • This spot is usually busy with tourist trying to get their photos taken.
Shibuya Crossing

    • It is located in front of the Shibuya Station Hachiko exit.
    • It stops the vehicle from all directions allowing the pedestrian to inundate the entire intersection.
    • It is said to be the busiest intersection in the world.
To get nice photos we decided to go to Mag's Park.

Day 6 was by far my favorite part of the trip, we went to Hakone. It was my first time to see and play with the snow. We also went to an Onsen. The Onsen Part is really satisfying because it boost my self esteem #BodyPositivity. Watch my vlog.

Day 7 & 8 is dedicated for errands, additional shopping, food trips. Travel back to Shinjuku and we explored Akihabara.

Notif

I thought today was just an ordinary day
Locked up & getting bored
I tried to distract myself in any way
Music, movies, vlogs, everything documented

Dance, sing & think of you
Chaos, my heart beats faster
I believe its because of you
Ohh trouble, what a disaster

One bell, one ring
I got too excited, what a thrill
A notif I was waiting
All hyped you know the drill

I miss you,
Keep safe.

Go Sail

You’re going too far,
I don’t know what the future holds
but I still wish you’ll be sailing the same ship I’m in.
 For the mean time,
I’ll just watch over you from a distance.
 Go, sail my love.
Good luck with your journey.
I may not have the courage to say this to you now,
but deep down in my heart I know this beats for the countless almost,
the in between and
the never ending waiting
 for our right time.

BANGKOK

Traveling has always been a passion of mine. Meeting new people, getting to know their culture and traditions. Tasting their food & delicacies. I've been to Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, few local travels in our country and now to add in my book Bangkok, Thailand. I've heard about this city a lot of times and from then on I said one day, I'll be able to go there and this year I made it happen.

Bangkok is a city really rich in culture, from their Temples, Palace, Food, Arts and their love for Animals especially Elephants. I've also seen their markets, it's really nice and it has variety to choose from. Thai people are also nice and they love tourists, they're very helpful.

Travel Date: June 5-10, 2019

On our first day, after landing we decided to go straight to the hotel and rest we were picked up in the Airport via van which we booked thru Klook and collected the local simcards which we also booked from the same app in the airport's lobby. After resting we went to Siam Niramit to watch an 80-minute Thai Show.

HOTEL, ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTION:

Hotel Vista ExpressHotel Vista Express Pratunam, Bangkok located in the heart of Pratunam garment district. The hotel’s convenient location is only a short ride or walk to famed Bangkok attractions such as Erawan Shrine, Central World, Platinum Shopping Mall, Siam Square, fine restaurants and cafes.

Breakfast is served daily. The stylish guest rooms of the hotel are infused with modern sensibility and sleek design, yet stay true to the playful, original spirit and culture of Hotel Vista Express Pratunam. Whether traveling for business or leisure, you will be delighted by their comfortable rooms and warm hospitality.

Siam Niramit - One of the largest theater in the world once verified by Guinness World Records, it showcases the 7 Thai Centuries in a 80 minute production. The show is divided into 3 acts: Journey Back into History, Journey Beyond Imagination: The Three Realms and Journey through Joyous Festivals. You can also enjoy taking photos outside, eat in the restaurant and have a chance to feed the elephants.

The Grand Palace - A complex building located at the heart of Bangkok, has been the official residence of the Kings since 1782 and it is still used for official events. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions.

Wat Pho - Is a Buddhist temple located directly south of the Grand Palace, it is also known as "The Temple of the Reclining Buddha". The temple is first in the list of six temples in Thailand classed as the highest grade of the first-class royal temples.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - A floating market located at Ratchaburi Province, considered as the largest and most popular floating market in Thailand. You can buy a lot of stuff there, take pictures and eat. But make sure to bring water and stay hydrated.

Damnoen Saduak Elephant Village - A place where you can feed, and interact with the elephants. But guys if you're planning to ride think twice, they have feelings too. Stop animal cruelty. I'm against it so feed them instead.

Maeklong Railway Station - Many markets in Thailand look the same but  there is one that definitely stands out. It is the Maeklong Railway Market why? because it has a train running through the middle of it several times a day. You can see the vendors rushing to pull back their specially designed umbrellas and goodies. That’s why the market is locally known as the Talat Rom Hoop (ตลาดร่มหุบ) which translates into “Market Umbrella Close.”

Baiyoke Sky Hotel - A perfect place to enjoy delicious food with a great Bangkok view.

Safari World - Safari World is a tourist attraction in Bangkok, Thailand that consists of two parks named Marine Park and Safari Park, operated by Safari World Public Limited. The park was opened in 1988 with a total area of 480 acres for its open zoo and 180 acres for its bird park. It's a must visit, you can watch several animal shows and interact with the cute and friendly animals.

Thip Samai - This is the most famous place where you can eat Pad Thai. Make sure not to go there on peak hours, because the the waiting time will be longer.

THAI FOOD : MUST TRY!
